Environmental Science/Geography- Week of August 28, 2017

Monday– Physical Geography/Conservation Efforts- Students will practice locating physical landmarks and complete a Web Quest on Biodiversity Conservation 
Tuesday– Endangered Species Flyer- Students will create a flyer that promotes the value and conservation of an endangered species of their choice
Wednesday (half-day)– Review- Students will review unit terms by playing Heads Up with classmates 
Thursday– Physical Geography/Ecological Succession- Students will differentiate between primary and secondary succession by locating examples around the school/classroom. 
Friday– Unit 1 Quiz – Students will take a unit quiz, followed by an episode of The Hunt

Environmental Science/Geography Week of August 21-August 25, 2017

Monday– Energy and Food Webs- Students will build an energy pyramid to show how energy is transferred in an ecosystem.
Tuesday– Biome Project- Students will be completing a tri-fold to highlight their specific biome.
WednesdayStudents will take Common Assessments in the media center
Thursday– Review- Students will review content from the last 3 weeks and complete Unit 1 study guide in preparation for our Unit 1 Test
Friday--  Students will complete Unit 1 Test.
